| Budz Farewell @ Galbiati Gourmet Deli...Last Friday marked the last day of work for my buddy in office... Having worked with her over the past couple of years, its a little sad to see her leave the organisation, but than again, its good for her. :) I'm sure she will excel in her next job. All the best Budz! :D Prior to her last day, a few of us brought her out for lunch! And the venue of choice was Galbiati Gourmet Deli, located at The Rail Mall @ Upper Bukit Timah Road. Hm... nice place to have nice pasta at a reasonable price! Think the likes of pasta + soup under $30? :) The must tries include the Lobster Bisque Soup and the Squid Ink Pasta! Yummy Yummy! Check it out! 3.5 Stars.

| Skinny Pizza!Recently we had a gathering wif Justin, Augustine, Dave, Cleon, Fenzie plus our wedding photographer Aleste. The venue of choice was Skinny Pizza @ Suntec City! The wifey first heard of the place from a local female magazine and decided to give it a try. Located near the entrance of Suntec City (next to Polo Ralph), this small but cozy little setup offers a range of "healthy" pizzas! Just to clarify, Skinny Pizza does not refer to pizzas for skinny peepz but rather thin crust pizzas... super thin crusts! The base of the pizzas are thinner then biscuits! Super Crispy! We ordered the Spinach Egg Pizza, the Curry Chicken Pizza and the Squid Ink Pizza. All pizzas are served wif huge servings of Arugula Leaves over them! healthy isin't it? My personal Favourite is the Squid Ink Pizza. The "ink" is mixed into the pizza dough to give it a black-tint to its crust... smells and taste fabulous! The other "can try" items are the Portobello Mushroom Soup, the Sweet Corn and Crab Soup as well as the Truffle Fries! Pizzas are priced at a reasonable $18... But don't expect to come in thinking that it feels your stomach... haha... it won't... Nevertheless, its a wonderful nice little place to catch up with friends and much on some starters. If you ask me, do give it a chance... Who knows? You may fall in love with the place. 3.5 Stars.

| Its been a while...Yes, its been a while since I updated my blog… haha… thanks for the kind emails asking where I’ve been or if everything is ok or have I shut down this blog… haha… Well, frankly, a lot has happened over the past couple of months… Everything is fine… No worries, this blog still exists and will remain active… and yes, I will try my best to update it as often as I can. Really miss those days when I update this like on a daily basis… haha… Oh by the way, I have not wished everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Haha… The Biggest event over the past 2 months has to be my wedding! (Yes! I’m married! Keke…) On 28th December 2008, Sunday, I tied the knot with “the gf” (who is now known as the “ex-gf” a.k.a. “the wifey”) @ the Pan Pacific Hotel. And yes, I know you guys are waiting for my wedding photos… keke… be patient k? haha… Over the next couple of posts, I will slowly upload some of my wedding studio photos as well as photos of the actual wedding day happenings. After my wedding, I immediately went for my Pre-Honeymoon trip with the wifey to Taiwan for 7days… haha… It was really cold but we had great fun!!! Hm… will also upload pics soon… keke… Over at work, there was quite a major re-org and the entire department was thrown around like a washing machine… For me, I guess I ended up with quite a good deal. My new manager seems to be the best among the rest and my team mate is a fellow Man Utd fan… haha… there is also a change in portfolio where I will be doing more mobile advertising than marketing services. Seems like it’s the next “in-thing” in the mobile industry but would be challenging in time to come. We shall see about that. But I’m grateful that my industry is not as badly affected by the recent economic downturn. Jobs were not cut in my company but other cost-savings measures were obviously taken. Hahaha… looks like I’ve got a whole lot of photos to upload ya! Hahaha… better get working on it! Will write soon! Its good to be back! | | |
| Wonderful Japanese Lunch!...Today i was on my way to have a Razor Sharp Memory! hahaha... my colleague and I attended this course by reknown "Memory Master" Daniel T. Its a 2 day course that promised us a razor sharp memory at the end of it. hahaha... The guy is really good... farnie and thought us some rather interesting techniques to help us remember or recall information more efficiently and accurately. I hope i have a better ability to "recall information" aft this course.. keke... we shall see how by the end of tomorrow... The highlight of the day is LUNCH! It was fabulous!!! What: Japanese Lunch Buffet Where: Ikoi Japanese Restaurant @ Miramar Hotel Cost: $33++/pax (lunch) I must say the japanese lunch buffet at Ikoi is one of the best in town!!! Although not exactly "cheap", it is worth every cent of that $33++... At the end of our lunch, we were super full and made us feel sleepy during the 2nd half of the day... keke... The Sashimi is really fresh and the variety reasonably wide. While it is an ala carte buffet, the restaurant will occationally bring out dishes that are FREE, on-the-house! Isin't that great? haha... But be warned, it is usually packed during lunch and reservations are highly recommended! Check out the foodie pics... keke...
