The married peepz in office decided to catch Michael Jackson's latest concert - "This Is It" last nite! And boy were we in for a blowoff! We were all excited abt it and MJ did not disappoint at all! It would have been the best concert of the century! So much effort was put into the preparation of his goodbye concert and it was evident in the entire 2 hours! The backdrops were mesmerizing, the dancers were brilliant, the cheorographing was magnificient! You have to see it to believe it... You could see how detailed MJ is... he only wants the best of the best for all his fans... his dedication to entertaining everyone is beyond words... Only thing is, it was all but a movie... Only if the concert went ahead as planned... Many thanks to the team that produced this movie... if not for them, no one would have been able to get a glimpse of MJ's Best concert ever. As MJ would say it... : God bless you... I love you...

Caught the preview of "A Christmas Carol" on Monday... The movie starred Jim Carrey... Jim Carrey... Jim Carrey... hahaha... he acted a total of 7 characters in the movie... Well, I've seen other renditions of "A Christmas Carol" (its based on a Charles Dickens' novel by the way) and I must say this could probably go down as the best one of them all. Disney must have spent lots of thoughts on doing this premier screening... At the theater, we were greeted by a group of choir boys singing Christmas Carols! This really brought us into the Christmas mood... haha... What's more, each guest was given a bag of goodies (popcorn, a drink and a jar filled with candies and chocolates)! The whole experience was brought to another level as the movie was screened in 3D! woohoo! Dun forget to chatch it! :) 4Stars.
| I'm back. officially. After being "away" from blogging for months, I decided to return. I miss the Xanga community, the rantings, ratings, expressing my thots in words and pictures..etc. Feels good to be "home". Lets see... my last post was in Feb... haha... and i realised that i've not uploaded my wedding pics ya? I tried, really, but there seems to be some problem with the uploading here... BUT, you can check my wedding pics <here> . I guess alot of things have changed at work over the last couple of months... I had my entire portfolio changed, team changed, a few of my colleagues left... CF, Mango, HJ and most recently Jer has left the team... My lunch kaki is fast depleating... come next year after bonus and increment is announced, more will leave... sigh. What does this say abt the management? You tell me. My Mgr has left for maternity and I'm carrying all the projects with my team of Me, Myself and I. Not that i'm complaining, but it all boils down to how recognised you get for your efforts put in and etc... you get the drift. I need to get my passion for my job back... What will be my motivation to push forward? Increment? Promotion? Either or Both? With so many of my colleagues leaving the team, it can become rather demoralizing... sigh. Read future posts for updates on this... Although work has been crazy over the past months, it also has its perks... I caught a couple of Concerts, took pics with Artistes, caught most of the latest movies FOC... the little perks of my job... haha... i'm easily satisfied. Oh on a lighter note, I've got a new ride! In March, we introduced "Cloud" to the family. Cloud is a white Altis... not the best around, but definitely pretty, serves its purpose and fuel efficient. I'm loving it. :) Its been almost 11 months into my marriage. Time really flies when you're happy. haha... And if u're wondering if there's any Little Charlie or Little mich coming along... well... not yet la... will keep u guys posted.. :P Gotta get back to work... haha... ciaoz. | | |
| Last Friday marked the last day of work for my buddy in office... Having worked with her over the past couple of years, its a little sad to see her leave the organisation, but than again, its good for her. :) I'm sure she will excel in her next job. All the best Budz! :D Prior to her last day, a few of us brought her out for lunch! And the venue of choice was Galbiati Gourmet Deli, located at The Rail Mall @ Upper Bukit Timah Road. Hm... nice place to have nice pasta at a reasonable price! Think the likes of pasta + soup under $30? :) The must tries include the Lobster Bisque Soup and the Squid Ink Pasta! Yummy Yummy! Check it out! 3.5 Stars.
Me and Budz... :D

| Recently we had a gathering wif Justin, Augustine, Dave, Cleon, Fenzie plus our wedding photographer Aleste. The venue of choice was Skinny Pizza @ Suntec City! The wifey first heard of the place from a local female magazine and decided to give it a try. Located near the entrance of Suntec City (next to Polo Ralph), this small but cozy little setup offers a range of "healthy" pizzas! Just to clarify, Skinny Pizza does not refer to pizzas for skinny peepz but rather thin crust pizzas... super thin crusts! The base of the pizzas are thinner then biscuits! Super Crispy! We ordered the Spinach Egg Pizza, the Curry Chicken Pizza and the Squid Ink Pizza. All pizzas are served wif huge servings of Arugula Leaves over them! healthy isin't it? My personal Favourite is the Squid Ink Pizza. The "ink" is mixed into the pizza dough to give it a black-tint to its crust... smells and taste fabulous! The other "can try" items are the Portobello Mushroom Soup, the Sweet Corn and Crab Soup as well as the Truffle Fries! Pizzas are priced at a reasonable $18... But don't expect to come in thinking that it feels your stomach... haha... it won't... Nevertheless, its a wonderful nice little place to catch up with friends and much on some starters. If you ask me, do give it a chance... Who knows? You may fall in love with the place. 3.5 Stars.
